Your Mahomet Water Treatment Experts

Tarvin's Culligan, owned and operated by the Tarvin Family, purchased Culligan of Mahomet from the Weinmann's in May 2020. The original Tarvin’s Culligan had humble beginnings when its doors opened in McLean County in 1956. Now, Tarvin’s Culligan is a third-generation business whose family values are reflected in their excellent service and personal attention to not only their customer’s but their community’s needs.

Tarvin’s Culligan will retain the friendly and knowledgeable staff in Mahomet and will expand Culligan of Mahomet’s services with electronic billing and other customer-centric options coming soon. All other services will remain the same. The Culligan of Mahomet dealership will continue service in Champaign, and portions of Ford, De Witt, Piatt, Douglas, McLean, and Iroqouis counties.

We bought a new home outside of the city with well water. Our water had the rotten eggs smell and would stain our toilets and clothes. The Culligans rep came out and suggested we add a chlorinator to kill any bacteria and help with the coloration. My wife didn't like the idea of chemicals in our children's water so they a great filter after the chlorinator that filtered the chlorine out as well. We spent about $2800 for this upgrade but you know what they say about happy wife- happy life. Just last week we were eating dinner and my wife said "We have the best water". If you have well water I highly suggest you call Culligans and ask for the system they installed for us - no more odor, tastes, or stained clothes.
